Voodoo Doc

- Voodoo Doc is the working pseudonym for Doctor Joeseph White MD.  Who started as a prior enlisted combat infantry/team member that cross trained billets into combat SOCM/SOF medic /18D. After commissioned service and progressing to completing the school of medicine and intern/residency, leaving the military, he transitioned  into a global emergency department response team division ('ERU'/'SWAT') as a field agent/unit member at the peak of GWOT.

 

He has held full time flight and dive medic position as the team med one, with post graduate studies (MD) in Emergency Medicine  (specialized practice in fleet force medicine), also having dual board certification in surgery case work, he maintains clinical status with Medical Services.

 

​His prior experience with various positions at local, state, and federal work with DOD/DOJ/DOS level have required he stayed on the forefront of useful skills and continuing education  including: field leadership, mental/physical tactics and training; including clandestine and austere medical interventions, combatives - small unit tactics, firearms and long range target engagement/small arms instructor, and clandestine interdiction.

 

​His current field position now, he specializes in the often overlooked skill sets of mental training and stress preparedness  along with psychological preparedness and analysis as well as instructing medical management and use of that knowledge to improve both  offensive and defensive array of training for his team. 

He integrates his medical knowledge in the field of emergency medicine/trauma and reverse engineers it to the firearms and combative protocols currently being used at his division and other agencies.

 

Among current qualifications outside of medicine are federal firearms instructor; and tactics for individual and team level, and has contributed to federal and military sniper school(s) instruction and curriculum. 

His knowledge of Austere medical practices and case work in field/emergent surgical procedures is used in various programs in training and today's combat theaters. 

 

He currently works primarily as an active asset in both teaching and deployed field leadership roles divided with his clinical case work and lectures/course development duties at home and abroad.

Ed Calderon

Founding Member

- For over a decade Ed Calderon worked in the fields of counter narcotics, organized crime investigation, and public safety in the northern-border region of Mexico. During this period he also coordinated and worked executive protection details for high-level government officials and visiting dignitaries — often in some of the most dangerous parts of the country.

Ed Calderon's study in to the indigenous Méxican criminal culture, from occult practices to endemic modus operandi have lead him to be recognized as one of the worlds preeminent researchers and trainers in the field of personal security that have come out of Mexico. Ed has had the privilege of sharing his expertise with members of federal law enforcement agencies including the FBI and BORTAC, Navy SEALS, Indonesian Kopaska , Mexican and United States intelligence service agents, and members of special forces groups from all over the world.

Currently, Ed travels North America doing security consulting and conducting seminars and private training courses in anti-abduction, escapology, unarmed combat, region specific executive protection work and unconventional edged weapons work. -
